OBJECTIVE
Test out a new Co-op Goal Mechanic that is more interactive, engaging, and influences a higher degree of team coordination that could potentially become a permanent part of the game.
PROCESS

Designed a new Co-op Goal mechanic and the Semi-Directed Tasks System that acts as a meta-layer that is more engaging and demands teamplay to be efficiently accomplished.

Deconstructed the game’s different loops and existing player actions to design and tune the Semi-Directed Tasks System. Deeply personalized the Task System by taking into account the capability of each Co-op and its members.

Designed 2 new permanent NPC characters and wrote a narrative arc to support the evolution of the Core Loops within FarmVille 2 lore.
